MEET THE TEAM

BARRY STEVENS
Founder & Family Support Worker
I’m a fully qualifed Community Youth Worker, having worked in both the voluntary and statutory sector. Most recently I founded the Caleb’s Mountain project, which supports children and young people in the Forest of Dean by working with their families and education establishments. I believe this holistic approach will impact children and young people more significantly than other approaches currently available.

GAIL REES
Forest Schools Lead
I have been teaching for over 20 years and when not in the classroom I am a mum to four children. Having alway been interested in gardening, I set up a garden with lottery funding at Ellwood School and have run a very popular garden club for many years. This year I have been fortunate to take part in the Forest Schools Level 3 training and am continuing to lead this at Ellwood School. I have seen first-hand the benefits of this kind of learning for teamwork and mental health.
